Description We are in search of a meticulous Controller to be part of our team in San Antonio, Texas. The role is centered in the manufacturing industry and involves overseeing the company's financial and accounting functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and improve our accounting software systems and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes

• Manage and supervise the company's financial and accounting software systems to process business transactions

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with DCAA regulations

• Ensure timely and accurate budget analysis and financial review for management

• Responsible for the company revenue recognition and ensure proper revenue recognition accounting

• Utilize Netsuite CRM and other ERP Solutions to automate and improve business processes

• Oversee the preparation of Form 10-K and Form 10-Q for SEC Reporting

• Implement and monitor the company's financial policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to GAAP Accounting

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial management

• Manage and coordinate all auditing activities and respond to audits effectively.

Note: This role does not require knowledge or experience in the Biotech or Biotechnology industry. Requirements

Education & Experience

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required

• Public accounting experience with 5+ years private industry experience, preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry

• Understanding of SOX 404 and 302

• • Proficiency in Revenue Recognition Accounting

• • Experience with Netsuite CRM and NetSuite

• • Familiarity with Form 10-K and Form 10-Q

• • Understanding of SEC Reporting

• • Experience or knowledge in Biotech and Biotechnology industry

• • Proficiency in GAAP Accounting
