You are:

A Cyber Security professional and enthusiast, who is seeking opportunities to evolve his/her craft by understanding latest cyber threats and help clients identify intrusion in their respective environments. In order to effectively do this, you leverage cutting edge Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) data analytics, as well as network/endpoint detection and response technologies for investigating any malicious activity in customer’s on-prem and cloud environments.

The work:

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPI) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of SOC operations

  • Stay up to date with the latest cyber threats incorporating threat intelligence into SOC operations for proactive defense

  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity analysis, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards guiding the SOC into maintaining its security posture.

  • Identify patterns/outliers within data sets that match threat actor TTPs, post compromise behavior, and otherwise unusual activity, such as insider threat.

  • Create and modify security SIEM dashboards to clearly identify scope of findings, or monitor activity

  • Provide expert analysis investigative support of large scale and complex security incidents, and in many cases identify incidents for which a technical detection may not be available.

  • Provide Insider threat and APT detection, and malware analysis/forensics.

  • Conduct dynamic and static malware analysis on samples obtained during incident handling or hunt operations in order to identify IOCs

  • Lead and manage a team (only for a CL7)

Here’s what you need:

  • 8 years in Cyber and/or IT professional experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of Degree

  • Experience conducting malware analysis, DFIR, CTI or Threat Hunt investigations

  • At least one current professional security certification from one of the following: CHFI, CySA, PenTest+, GCFA, CISM, GCIH, GSLC, CASP, or Security Bonus Points if you have:

  • Hands on experience integrating, deploying, and configuring security tools

  • You have one or more of the following certifications:

  • Networking (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper)

  • Security Tools (Splunk, Carbon Black, Cylance, McAfee, Tenable, FireEye, CrowdStrike, ELK)

  • SAN/GIAC (GCIH, GCIH, GREM, GCED, GCDA)

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role :

California: $122,600 - $296,100

Colorado: $122,600 - $255,900

New York: $113,500 - $296,100

Washington State: $130,500 – $272,300
