Sr. Creative Manager

Walmart Creative Studio (WCS) is the in-house creative agency for Walmart. The 3D Creative Technology Team, part of the Walmart Integrated Production Group, is at the forefront of retail innovation, pioneering immersive digital experiences that transform online shopping. This skilled group of creative technologists, project managers, and strategists collaborates to create cutting-edge 3D visualizations and interactive solutions. Their work enhances product presentations and enables customers to explore merchandise in detailed, virtual environments, offering a more engaging and informative shopping experience. The team's commitment to leveraging the latest technologies ensures Walmart remains a leader in e-commerce, continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible in retail.

Position Summary

  • Lead the operations performance within Project Bloom, a pilot to scale 3D-based Content and a major FY25 and beyond initiative

  • Stay updated with industry trends and ensure the organization remains competitive

  • Leverage a deep understanding of various 3D technologies and software, to guide their team in using the right tools and techniques to create high-quality 3D content

  • Drive increased adoption of 3D content creation and next-gen commerce use cases to optimize EDLC

  • Demonstrate 3D's ability to drive sales, increase conversion & AOV, and mitigate returns

  • Develop innovative 3D-based tools to scale value for WCS and the Merchandising organization

  • Drive education and adoption of 3D-based content across the Walmart enterprise

  • Represent Walmart at XR events and Conferences, forging connections that give Walmart a competitive edge

  • Set and maintain high-quality standards in 3D content creation

  • Build and retain a diverse team of high-performing, culture champions

  • Guide the professional development of their team by providing mentorship, training, and guidance, ensuring that the team remains highly skilled and motivated

  • Oversee the 3D Creative Technology Operations team, helping them manage complex 3D projects with strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the 3D Creative Tech Team and the Enterprise, industry queries and emerging technology demo calls

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 3 years' experience in editorial content management or related field OR 5 years' experience in editorial content management or related field.

  • 1-3 years of digital content management

  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience

  • 1-3 years of working with or for creative agencies

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
