Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.

  • 9 years of experience building and testing APIs or web applications.

  • 8 years of experience in software development and design.

  • 4 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.

  • 4 years of experience working with teams and business stakeholders to create product roadmaps.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing software and/or systems delivery.

  • Experience in business architecture, systems design, systems integration, data architecture, and solutions delivery.

  • Experience in systems infrastructure and delivering solutions for large, complex stakeholder groups.

  • Experience working with systems for collaborative code reviews, version control, continuous integration, and automated testing.

  • Ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems, and scale effectively across a large organization/distributed team.

  • Ability to provide functional expertise, apply best practices, leverage core capabilities, and influence/lead cross-functional stakeholders.

As a Web Solutions Engineering Manager, you will lead the team that provides business systems for the YouTube Partnerships organization. Your work enables our partnership teams to provide strategic, outcomes-focused insights for our YouTube creators. Outcomes of the team keep the YouTube business organization nimble, able to understand partner needs and innovate accordingly. You will be part of a leadership team driving engineering excellence, setting systems strategy, and delivering on roadmap commitments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Ensure that all technical solutions are designed in a way that enable other Engineering and Operations teams to easily access and utilize.

  • Collaborate with product leads, partner technology managers, and other software engineers to enhance core product using standard and Google-specific software development tools.

  • Write and review technical documents, including design, development, revision documents, and review code in compiled or scripted languages.

  • Monitor system performance/capacity, and promote quality/reliability.

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable enterprise software for Business teams in YouTube.
