Description

We are currently partnered with a company located in downtown San Diego to fill a crucial role in their accounting department.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yardi Accounting Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial data and ensuring accurate accounting records within the Yardi software platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting functions using Yardi software, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial data.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven experience working with Yardi software in an accounting capacity.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Employment Details:

This position offers the flexibility of either onsite or hybrid work arrangements, based on individual preference and company policies. This is a contract position with the possibility of contract to hire.
