Robert Half is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients in the legal industry!

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing all accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently. This role is integral to maintaining our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

• Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for proper documentation and authorization.

• Prepare and perform check runs and electronic payments.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

• Maintain vendor relationships and address inquiries regarding payments or invoices.

• Assist with month-end close procedures and provide support for financial reporting.

• Monitor and track expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment-related issues and improve processes.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in the legal industry (preferred but not required).
