Are you skilled in handling accounts payable and seeking a new opportunity? Robert Half is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract role. Join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process accounts payable transactions with precision.

  • Verify invoice details, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and documentation.

  • Address any discrepancies promptly and reconcile vendor statements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues and inquiries.

  • Support month-end closing activities and assist in audits as needed.

  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial records.

  • Follow company policies and regulatory requirements diligently.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

  • Previous experience in accounts payable processing is required.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.

  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
