Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely collection of receivables.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming payments and reconcile accounts receivable records.

• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner.

• Prepare and send invoices to customers accurately and promptly.

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Proven experience working in accounts receivable roles, preferably within the education industry.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle).

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
