Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Billing Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately preparing client invoices, reconciling billing records, and ensuring timely billing processes.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze billable hours, expenses, and client contracts to prepare accurate invoices.

• Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure completeness and accuracy of billing information.

• Process billing adjustments, write-offs, and other billing-related transactions as necessary.

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes.

• Assist with month-end billing processes and generate financial reports as needed.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records in compliance with firm policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Proven experience working as a Billing Specialist in a law firm or professional services environment.

• Familiarity with legal billing software (e.g., Aderant, Elite) is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and billing calculations.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
