Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented bookkeeper seeking your next opportunity? Robert Half is currently looking for a skilled individual to join our team on a contract basis. As a Bookkeeper, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients. Join us and put your bookkeeping expertise to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

• Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address any bookkeeping-related inquiries or issues.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Experience with payroll processing is a plus.
