Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Accountant to manage our company’s financial procedures, process payments, prepare financial reports, and monitor all financial transactions related to our construction projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of construction accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting procedures related to our construction projects.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial and project reports.

• Oversee job cost reporting and monitor progress against budgets.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Perform bank and account reconciliations.

• Ensure financial transactions and record-keeping adhere to legal regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with the finance and project management teams to achieve financial goals.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction accounting role.

• Experience with construction software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Procore.

• Excellent numerical proficiency and strong attention to detail.

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards in construction.

• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This contract position's duration will be (specify timeframe) with a potential for a full-time position based on performance and company needs.
