Girl Scouts San Diego Customer Care Representative in San Diego, California

Girl Scouts San Diego is seeking a full-time Customer Care Representative to provide the highest level of customer service for all internal and external inquiries via phone, email, chat or in-person, and provide administrative support to help meet team goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Answer incoming calls/requests; engage in problem solving and provide solutions; manage and respond appropriately to all inquiries.

  • Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information, researching, locating and delivering findings.

  • Maintain contact center database by entering information accurately and quickly; assists in the review and resolution of data issues.

  • Provide a positive customer experience for all those contacted in-person, by phone, email or chat.

  • Manage processes that include, but are not limited to, event and membership registration, background screening verification, front desk reception, and resource center assistance.

  • Provide back-up administrative support across all departments as needed which may include copying, filing, data entry, program equipment check out, front desk staffing, and office supply stocking.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to assist in fulfillment of the council’s mission and goals.

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a customer service role; College degree desired.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), required

  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment, with minimal supervision.

  • Exceptional customer service skills, including friendly, professional communication via phone, email, in-person and chat.

  • Excellent attention to detail, effective time management skills, and ability to effectively multi-task and handle competing priorities and requests.

  • Must be flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, as needed.

  • Regular and prompt attendance required.

  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Occasional travel may be required.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, DOE
