Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Coordinator to join our team and support the human resources functions within our construction company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging construction environment.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate and support the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting orientations for new hires.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering positive relationships between employees and management.

  • Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.

  • Communicate benefits information to employees and assist with open enrollment processes.

HR Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions for employees, identifying relevant professional development opportunities.

  • Work with department heads to assess training needs and implement programs accordingly.

Safety and Wellness Programs:

  • Collaborate with the safety team to promote a culture of safety within the organization.

  • Implement wellness programs to support the overall well-being of employees.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an HR Coordinator, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
