CareerStaff Unlimited is looking to hire full-time, experienced Vocational Nurse within the California Correctional Facility inSan Diego, CA. Qualified candidate will have a strong focus in patient care and have the flexibility for all shifts including weekends and holidays. Active ICE/Federal Clearance Required and must be a graduate from an approved school of nursing with a certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Must be licensed in the state of employment. A valid driver's license is required.

Weekly Rate: $1856

Hourly Rate: $18

Stipend Rate: $1,100

JOB DETAILS FOR LVNLICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE– CORRECTIONAL FACILITY:

• Provide a basic level of general nursing care to forensic clients, patients or inmates with mental, emotional or developmental disabilities

• Provide care under the clinical direction of a registered nurse or physician

• The ability to easily integrate into new settings

• Knowledge of various computer systems

• A desire to expand nursing skill set or varied experience

LICENSURE CREDENTIALS REQUIRED FOR THE LVNLICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE:

• Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse – LVN License

• 1 year of LVN experience within the last 2 years

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
