Biotech Company in Sorrento Valley is NOW HIRING for a Manufacturing Lead

Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm (training on 1st shift)

Description:

this person will be supervising lines on the second shift manufacturing team. they will have to help the team achieve weekly production goals and manufacturing yields. This person is going to be a working lead, so they will operate manufacturing equipment while also monitoring manufacturing goals. They will have to monitor the teams ability to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all related standard operating procedures (SOPs). This person will also need to monitor the team using good documentation practices. Sometimes goals will spike and be unscheduled, they will have to ensure goals are still met to avoid back orders. Part of the job will be supporting staffing need to achieve manufacturing goals. This person will also have to assist with staff rotation, break scheduling, and shift transfer.

They will lead department training activities and maintain compliant training records. When new manufacturing technology is introduced the will help evaluate and pilot work that is required to assure minimum problems with initial and subsequent manufacturing.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and all related SOPs.

They will be responsible for tracking and implementing corrective action protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Three (3) to five (5) years previous related manufacturing experience within a regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.

• previous lead experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally they will have led 20 people at previous job

• understand good documentation practices, good manufacturing practices, good laboratory practices.

• ISO quality processes
