Amee Bay, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a leading government contractor, is seeking a Navy Shipboard Gun Systems Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA .

Position Overview:

As a representative of Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) provide technical assistance on ISNS systems aboard U.S. Navy ships under the cognizance of SWRMC. This position will work out of SWRMC, Bldg. 76 at Naval Base San Diego, and will receive daily work assignments from the SWRMC Branch Head.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide technical services representing SWRMC Engineering Department and other duties as assigned.

• Provide both on-board, and distance-support technical assistance in connection with direct fleet support of a wide variety of equipment and components for surface ships over their extended operating cycle.

• Technical assistance will include assisting the ships with operational tests, problem identification, troubleshooting (could be down to component level), corrective and preventive maintenance, post repairs operational tests and updating all job related data requirements.

• The technician is responsible for one or more of the following systems and their interfaces and is expected to have specific technical working knowledge of the systems on the following:

• 5”/54 Gun Mount Mk 45 Mod 1, 2

• 5”/62 Gun Mount Mk 45 Mod 4

• 76MM/62 Gun Mount Mk 75

• 25MM Gun Mount Mk 38

• 57MM Gun System Mk 110

• 30 MM Gun System Mk 46

• Future gun systems, such as the Advanced Gun System (AGS)

• Magazine Sprinkler Systems Verifications (MSSV)

• Small Arms Readiness Reviews (SARR)

• Night Vision Devices Assessments (NVDA)

• Knowledge of engineering principles of a highly specialized level of theories, practices, and techniques to include but not be limited to the following cross disciplines:

• mechanical,

• electronics,

• electrical, thermo-imaging,

• thermodynamics,

• hydraulic/pneumatic,

• structural, and related interfacing fields in order to provide overall cross analysis from total system viewpoints.

Position Requirements:

• US Citizenship

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret level clearance; person's currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance preferred.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Navy "A" and "C" schools for Gun Systems and Magazine Sprinkler Systems;

• Proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite;

• Minimum of six (6) years' experience;

• Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License;

• Must pass drug screening as a condition of employment

This position is located in San Diego, California.

The hiring range for this position is: $32.30 - $39.50
