The Privacy QA & Tools team is a dynamic and dedicated group, committed to ensuring that features are delivered in accordance with Apple's privacy standards. Privacy QA & Tools team also builds tools to improve the efficiency and productivity of user privacy org. As a Privacy QA Manager, your leadership will play a crucial role in creating, automating and executing comprehensive test plans and cases that surpass traditional expectations. In your role as a leader within a growing organization, you will manage and lead skilled engineers who will ensure that our features are shipped to the customers with the utmost quality and privacy.

Key Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of prior leadership and management experience.

  • Passion for customer privacy.

  • Ability to build, drive and support automation test strategy.

  • Consistent record of independently balancing multiple projects and workflows.

  • Collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Experience hiring automation and quality engineers and leading a team through significant growth

  • Proficient in one more object-oriented programming languages Swift/Obj-C/Java/C++ Proficient in one or more scripting languages: Python/Ruby

Description

As Privacy QA Manager, you will be responsible for qualification of features developed by Platform Privacy Team. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure comprehensive test case coverage for features that have significant privacy impact. Your responsibilities will also include Hire, grow, and lead a team of test automation and quality engineers Oversee development of comprehensive feature test plans. Partner with engineering managers to ensure features are crafted for testability. Update feature teams and management on quality status, escalating and driving issues to resolution. Identify and drive investments in tests, tooling, and automation required to scale the team’s efforts to handle a growing project portfolio.

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,900.00 and $274,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
