This is full time, benefited position working 8-hour day shifts typically M/T/Th from 8:30am-5:30pm and W/F from 8am-5pm. Located at Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo.

*What you'll do: *
- Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice - patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, IVs, sterile tray setup, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols, ordering and administering medications.
- Med management, working with prior authorizations and referrals.
- Working collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
- This position is roughly 60% administrative and 40% direct facing patient care.

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Required Certification/Registration:
- Current CA RN License
- Current BLS provider through American Heart Association
Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- 1 year RN experience
- Ophthalmology/Optometry experience
- Knowledge of Insurance
