We develop and run Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience handling complex campus operations and facilities management

  • People management and project management experience

  • Track record of managing a P&L and budget

  • Understanding of sourcing/procurement, building systems, maintenance, vendor management, and customer service

  • Strong knowledge of facility infrastructure reports and restoration and sustainable infrastructure and practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project)

  • Experience in reading and translating CAD/blueprints

  • Capability to work with a variety of both internal and external partners

  • Excellent written and verbal skills with negotiation skills

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for facilities services which includes leading the day to day services through 3rd party contracts providers. The focus is to build a great end-user experience for Apple employees and visitors. Responsibilities will include: - Identify ways to optimize services and operating costs and ensure the upkeep of maintenance of buildings and overall campus. - Coordinate repairs and upgrades of existing and new equipment and ensure they meet all health and safety standards. - Ensure the safety of the environment for all employees along with EH&S. - Handle service contracts, including but not limited to food service, site cleaning, pest control, shredding, hardscape maintenance, lawn providers, and copy/mail services and maintain records and budgets. - Demonstrate an understanding of processes within a Facilities Management organization by demonstrating understanding by collaborating/partnering across all disciplines within facilities. - Present and engage in discussion with a diverse level of internal and external stakeholders. - Liaise with colleagues across the R&D, IS&T, People, RE&D to ensure projects do not impact the facilities assets, employees and other business deliverables.

Education & Experience

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Workplace & Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Certification in Facility Management, Engineering, Business, or technical training is considered a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $45.68 and $68.90/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
