Amazon Sr. Social Marketing Manager, Selling Partner Communities in San Diego, California

We accomplish this vision with the following three objectives: 1) Build magical experiences to provide SPs opportunities to connect directly with Amazon and each other, thus creating a valuable and inclusive community, 2) Create and govern SP communications and content to inspire, educate, and engage in multi-directional channels between SPs and Amazon at scale; and 3) Measure SP Perceptions, develop SP Insights, and advocate on their behalf.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and governing the global expansion of our SOA social media presence, ensuring a cohesive and impactful strategy. You will oversee partnerships and governance of existing SOA international social media channels, fostering collaboration with local seller-facing platforms to enhance our reach. You will find new and innovative ways to build our Social community, both domestically and abroad. Additionally, you will regularly update leadership and stakeholders on key initiatives and programs.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end organic social strategy for the Communities brand experience, scaling our social presence and driving follower growth and engagement across key social platforms

• Research local marketplaces and Social Media platforms to effectively launch relevant and successful regional campaigns.

• Build, execute, and scale campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X Tiktok & Youtube, and continuously innovate on opportunities for channel expansion

• Find innovative ways to grow followers across platforms and locales.

• Manage key internal relationships, owning the briefing process for seller facing content

• Share Selling Partner insights/sentiment, and advocating for Selling Partners to the broader organization

• Work cross-functionally across functional teams (e.g., Content, Marketing, PR) to execute campaigns and programs, driving excitement for key product/service launches, and Community building experiences

• Set the strategy for internal SPECT teams who post on Sell-on-Amazon social channels, build best practices and guidelines that establish SCPS as the voice of the seller community on Amazon

• Set, track and report on performance metrics in regular business metrics to stakeholders and leadership

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights

  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
