Sutter Health Clinical Nursing Manager in San Francisco, California

Position Overview:

Under the supervision of the Director, Nursing Services, provides for the delivery of efficient and effective professional nursing care for a designated area and ensures that nursing care provided is consistent with established nursing care standards and that care is provided in a safe, appropriate and cost-effective manner. The Nursing Manager is responsible for retention, the supervision, management and development of staff; for planning, directing and monitoring of unit operations; and for the fiscal management of the units.


Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required. Master's Degree Preferred

Current California RN license

BLS required

Three years of experience in acute care nursing required

Two years of previous management/supervisory experience preferred

Experience in Team Building preferred
