The Head of Source to Pay is a hands-on, high visibility role that will require extensive experience across the entire spend management life cycle. Reporting to the SVP and Chief Accounting Officer, the ideal candidate will lead an existing team and be responsible for developing, managing and automating critical buying processes for LiveRamp Inc. In this role, you will define best practices to optimize sourcing expenses, drive self-source programs, efficient downstream transactions, and automation initiatives in order to make the buying journey more seamless and integrated with the organization. Making user-experience a critical requirement, you will partner with finance, business technology, engineering, product, R&D, marketing and M&A to create a strategy that is in line with key company initiatives.

You will:

  • Provide oversight and strategic guidance for all assigned functions and staff within the source to pay organization.

  • Initiate, design, plan, execute, monitor, and close process improvement projects. ERP process design and implementation experience preferred.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in business requirement definition, process design, process implementation, and organizational transformation

  • Experience creating analytics dashboards, metrics, and KPI’s for all levels of the organization to assist in data driven decision making

  • Oversee/maintain highly effective internal controls and support internal and external financial reporting

Your team will consist of:

Strategic Sourcing (Source to Contract)

  • Manage vendors/suppliers (VMO- vendor management office) through KPI’s and scorecards

  • Lead LiveRamp’s RFP process, analyze cost, develop strategic business terms and liaise with core teams to ensure visibility

  • Manage team to focus on contract administration, quality assurance, bespoke custom terms and payment processes for all vendors

  • Develop and deploy company wide vendor sourcing programs, providing training and a clear path towards self service automation for all sourcing

  • Ensure there is a strong hand-off and data integrity between strategic sourcing and procure to pay teams.

Procure to Pay

  • Drive operational excellence across all PTP cycle times.

  • Lead the roadmap for continued optimization and provide leadership surrounding the best method of execution (process, technology, resourcing, location etc.)

  • Ensure there is a scalable infrastructure to support the continued growth of LiveRamp as well as increased global presence.

  • Ensure all monthly close deadlines are met and assistant with auditors to coordinate the annual audit, quarterly reviews, and any internal audit or process review projects

  • SOX control performance and documentation maintenance

Travel & Expense

  • Foster and be an advocate for corporate travel programs and policies.

  • Ensure the system and tools are global and scalable.

  • Drive compliance and proper usage of corporate purchasing cards and T&E cards.

Contingent Workforce & Supplier Diversity Programs

  • Develop compliant contingent workforce programs that ensure business partners are able to mitigate risk while growing their organization.

  • Drive continuity between vendor onboarding and contractor onboarding all the way through requisition and payment of the individual contractor or vendor across a variety of fee schedules.

  • Partner with LiveRamp’s Head of Diversity and build a modern supplier diversity program.

About you:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of the entire source to pay process.

  • 10-15 years experience in sourcing or procurement with at least 5 years in strategic sourcing.

  • A track record of success within vendor negotiations, building teams and defining metrics (using analytics) for success.

  • Experience managing global source to pay requirements and working cross functionality to ensure all areas of impact are considered.

  • Proven ability to drive positive change and build strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams

  • Good sense of humor and unflinching attention to detail and willingness to roll-up sleeves and do both tactical and high level strategic work.

Bonus Points:

  • Deep understanding of cloud and SaaS applications

  • Experience with Workday financials and procure to pay, Coupa Contingent Workforce and ScoutRFP.

  • Strongly technology background and able to navigate new systems and tools as both a user and administrator.

  • Experience with automation initiatives and business process outsourcing

  • Demonstrated experience collecting and analyzing data, applying principles of financial analysis, aptitude in decision making

  • Experience working for a high growth high tech company

  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA or other advanced degree in finance, technology or business preferred.
