You Are:

We have an opening for an Oracle License Optimization Associate Manager position in our Software License Optimization practice who will focus on multiple licensing projects. This position is focused on providing strategic advice for our growing client base regarding software license management, audit compliance, and software licensing and contracting. The ideal candidate will have extensive Oracle software audit experience along with licensing knowledge of other top software publishers.

The Work:

  • Act in the role of a subject matter expert for Oracle licensing.

  • Lead Oracle data collection and data analysis activities to create Oracle and Java Effective License Positions (ELPs) on behalf of clients.

  • Lead and support the delivery of client engagements including license reconciliations / self-audits, audit support, software asset management tool and process reviews, etc.

  • Support clients undergoing Oracle imposed software license audits. Review auditor findings for accuracy and help customers create an audit response and negotiation strategy.

  • Help clients utilize and interpret SAM / discovery tools (Flexera, Snow, Service Now SAM Pro, SCCM, etc.) to better track and manage Oracle licenses.

  • Train and develop junior staff to support Oracle engagements.

  • Assist in developing and delivering audit and software asset management related training material to clients.

  • Learn and support client needs across non-Oracle software publishers as a secondary priority.

    Here’s what you need:

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in software licensing, software auditing and/or software asset management.

  • A minimum of 5 years license compliance experience with Oracle.

Bonus Points If:

  • Additional publishers experience

  • Proven track record in building client relationships and offering strategic insight into their business.

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and Excel.

  • Passionate about technology including learning about new technologies and concepts.

  • Eagerness to solve complex business problem and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

Travel:

  • This position may require travel up to 25% to multiple customer locations.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. California $73,000 to $168,600

Colorado $73,000 to $145,700

New York $67,600 to $168,600
