Job Description

Moody's Analytics is looking for a Senior Software Engineer that involves strategic collaboration with the lead engineer, adherence to directives from a Project Manager (PM), and leadership within an agile team setting.

Agile Teamwork: Actively participate in 2-6 sprints, contributing to scrum meetings and ensuring the agile team meets its project milestones.

Leadership and Mentorship: Take charge of running junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship to develop their coding and project management skills.

Technical Expertise: Perform hands-on coding and oversee the technical contributions of code members, ensuring the delivery of robust risk insights technology solutions

Skills and Requirements

• 6+ years of experience

    * Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js for server-side development.

    * Experience with front-end frameworks, specifically React.

    * Familiarity with Data Bricks and experience building on AWS/JCP

    * Proficient in infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform.

    * Strong understanding of relational databases, standard SQL,

PostgreSQL, and AWS relational database services.

• Comprehensive experience with Kubernetes. * Knowledge of Rust or Python programming languages

    * Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
