Job Title: Design Assurance Engineer

Job Description

The Sr. Design Assurance Engineer will lead the direction of quality in new product development, technology transfers, and process development. They will validate suppliers, own the master validation plan, and manage process flow diagrams.

Hard Skills

  • Create Master Validation Plan

  • Validate processes through MVP

  • Own and modify Document of Change (DOC)

  • Validate DFMEA from change orders data

  • Validate PFMEA through process flow diagrams and risk ranking tests

  • Create process flow diagrams with Smart Art or Visio software

  • Validate suppliers

  • Utilize Minitab for statistical analysis

  • Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO standards

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Jose, California.

Work Environment

Monday - Friday, onsite with flexibility to work from home when creating Master Validation Plans and Process Flow Diagrams. Core hours are 9am - 3pm, with the ability to adjust start and end times. Family-friendly work culture with a 98% retention rate. Flexibility to prioritize personal and family life needs. No micromanaging.
