Job Description:

Create strategic data solutions to scale both the data environment and data usage of our Big Data platform. Lead and assist junior engineers in data services team with domain knowledge and technical expertise. Assist in onboarding new Zoomies, by doing necessary knowledge share of zoom products, dev processes and BDP architecture, environments and frameworks as an SME for various Zoom products data. Design and create multiple data layers for multiple use cases and multiple personas of Zoom’s data users. Drive projects end-to-end from requirement gathering/analysis, design, data modeling, development, testing, deployment, data analysis & dashboard building. Work with internal stakeholders to understand their data need and drive the design and implementation of Zoom’s next-gen big data enablement. Build a self-serve data environment to enable our stakeholders to leverage data and drive Zoom’s growth. Identify, drive, and deliver a strategic mix of short-term solutions to address urgent business needs, and long-term implementation to drive future value. Own and continuously improve the robustness, stability, scalability, quality, and accuracy of our data and data processes (ETLs). Ensure 99.99% uptime of our data processes and stakeholder-facing layers. Use tools such as Apache Spark/Scala, Apache Flink Hadoop Mapreduce, Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, Jenkins, C/CD and other in-built solutions & frameworks.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent. Must have 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation. Must have 3 years of experience in Expert SQL; AWS environment, tools, and services; Snowflake; Python; Linux; and Git. Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Must have a master's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent. Must have 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation. Must have 1 year of experience in Expert SQL; AWS environment, tools, and services; Snowflake; Python; Linux; and Git. Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$148,658.00

Maximum:

$209,200.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
