Job Description & Primary Purpose
Our client is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager with strong technical knowledge and heavy industry experience -- preferably mining. This PM will work with infrastructure engineering teams to implement infrastructure solutions on new minor projects as well as some maintenance projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage their own project plan: create Scope, Budget and Schedule
- Maintain project plan and timeline
- Use technical knowledge and expertise to ensure success
- Work onsite 3-4 days at mine location
- Manage IT Infrastructure engineering team on projects
- Successfully utilize waterfall methodology
- Focus on safety and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of Strong Technical Infrastructure Technical Experience
- 3+ Years of Mining or Heavy Industry Experience
- Strong Project Management: Creating and Managing Scope, Budget, Timeline
- Willing to wear PPE on Mine Site
- Demonstrated Risk and HSE acumen in projects
- PMP Certified or formal education in Project Management
- Willing to be onsite for 3-4 days per week
