Description We have a pressing need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to supervise cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. Your responsibilities in this role

• Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

• Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

• Make all cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

• Organize cash flow projections, as needed

• Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

• Keep Accounts Payable up to date

• Administer monthly accounting close

• Outline business license and gross receipts

• Additional special projects if necessary

• Credit Card management and reconciliation

• File budget transfers

• Direct Accounts Receivable Requirements - Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

• Great attention to detail

• Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

  • Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

• Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred

• Solid understanding of Paychex

• Proficiency in billing

• Proven knowledge of general ledger

• Cash flow management experience

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)

• General familiarity with month end closings

• Well-founded grasp of journal entries

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

• Highly organized and self-motivated

• Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
