Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper looking for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara? Robert Half is seeking a highly organized Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a company's team in the area.

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis.

• Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.

• Maintain general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Generate financial statements and reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.

• Prepare and file sales tax returns.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Collaborate with external auditors during audits.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
