Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

Our location in Santa Clara, CA, currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Training Program Coordinator. The Training Program Coordinator is responsible for executing effective medical education, training, and marketing events and programs in line with medical education objectives, and marketing campaigns, developing and delivering lead generation programs.

What You’ll Work On

  • Coordinate, plan and organize internal and external business-related functions related to Abbott training programs.

  • Develop on-site and off-site plans and budgets.

  • Investigate, coordinate, arrange and contract for hotel accommodations, facilities, audio visual services, transportation, food and beverage, communications, and additional services required to support programs.

  • Direct multiple service contractors and subcontractors.

  • Collaborate with training staff/management and physician faculty to create program agendas, materials, communications, and supplies that ensure that the training objectives are successfully met. This requires that proposals, budget management, project management and logistics are effectively managed for all participants and faculty.

  • Organize and facilitate program planning meetings to ensure that all parties involved are properly informed and contributing, as necessary, to assure program success. This can include both internal stake holders, and external physician contractors.

  • Manage all aspects of registration for courses including invitations, travel and hotel accommodations, and rooming lists.

  • Attend events as needed to support from a logistical perspective and to ensure that details associated with participants, lodging, equipment needs, guest speakers and agendas, supplies and documentation are attended to and that problems are corrected.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs by soliciting participant feedback and formulating recommendations to determine successes and areas of improvement, which will be used to improve subsequent program effectiveness.

  • Ensure all appropriate documentation related to the program (facility, faculty, participants) have been obtained and retained in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of Medtech-related experience, and project/program management experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and computer-based skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

  • Detail oriented, focused on data integrity, accuracy, and defined compliance processes and procedures.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills using “out of the box” thinking.

  • Experience working with healthcare professional customers.

The base pay for this position is $95,500.00 – $190,900.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
