Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Santa Monica, California. This role primarily involves managing the front office of a bustling dermatology practice, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations and providing excellent service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the front office and ensure all office supplies are equipped daily

• Check in patients upon arrival and manage patient scheduling

• Handle the collection of payments from patients for services rendered

• Answer incoming calls and address or redirect inquiries as required

• Assist with other duties as needed within the office to ensure the smooth running of operations

• Utilize MS Outlook for communication and organization tasks Requirements • Must possess at least one year of experience in a Medical Receptionist role or similar

• Proficiency in MS Outlook is essential

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in medical administration is a plus

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of medical terminologies, procedures and diagnosis is preferred

• Familiarity with EMR systems and data entry

• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality

• Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure

• Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
