Parker Hannifin EMEA Sàrl (“PHEMEA”), based in Etoy, Switzerland, is the Principal Operating Company for Parker in the EMEA region. It is supported by a network of Parker Manufacturing Divisions and Sales Company Entities.
Parker Gas Separation and Filtration Division EMEA supply a comprehensive range of products for compressed air / gas treatment, gas generation, industrial air extraction and precision cooling of process fluids, that are designed to meet the needs of global customers through a dedicated focus on key market sectors.
Situated in four locations across Europe in Gateshead (UK), Padova (IT), Etten-Leur (NL) and Chomutov (CZ).

Padova, Italy
The location employs around 140 people.
As Mechanical Engineer you'll develop and improve current and new products to treat air and gases (e.g.Hydrogen). Those products range from filtration to cooling. You will part of the team focused on Gas and Compressed Air Dryer (fridge and adsorption), Water Coolers and Chillers.
· Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations
· Ensure that used materials are in line with the application
· Design pressure vessel (eg. stress calculation, welding)
· Creating technical documentation (e.g. Technical File)
· Providing technical support to both production and R&D
· 2D/3D CAD design
Skills & Experience:
· Relevant degree in Engineering/ Materials/ Chemistry
· Understanding and application of the latest PED legislation, regulations, standards, codes or best practices that are relevant to the product’s development (EN13455, AD2000, ASME, EN378)
· Good understanding of metallic materials
· Willingness to pass on knowledge to other team members when required
· Proficient in spoken and written English
Desirable:
· Knowledge of Sant'Ambrogio NextGen software for mechanical design and verification of pressure vessels
· Knowledge on Hydrogen
· Basic knowledge on refrigeration
· Good communication skills and relationship building
· Teamwork
· Good organization and time management
· Flexible approach to decision making (e.g. Make changes to drawings at short notice)
