The role of the Jr Forecasting and Supply Analyst is to effectively manage the product forecast, supply and inventory for Trek Brasil/Uruguay. The Analyst will be responsible for being a product expert capable of effectively communicating with the sales team, dealers and consumers in market. Specifically, this position will manage product selection, market trend analysis, oversee forecasts and inventory, and be a proponent for Trek Brasil/Uruguay.
Responsibilities
Oversee forecasting for bicycles, accessory and component products
Manage product information, selection and communication to business partners
Work with market to understand trends and set up action plans to address
Responsible for inventory controls
Manage the market forecast and provide guidance
Manage variance between supply plan and sales plan
Establish pricing with sales team
Maintain data to support forecasting and sales diligently
Prepare and present sales, forecasting and inventory analytics
Communicate and plan aggregated forecast for business segment monthly
Other projects as assigned
Requirements
Prior experience in finished goods forecasting and inventory management
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Prior international business experience preferred
Excellent communication and follow up skills required
Experience with demand planning
Commitment to continuous improvement
Must be fluent in English and Portuguese
Spanish is a plus
Beneficial
Prior experience in the cycling industry beneficial
Familiar with JDE (Oracle)
Experience with John Galt (Atlas Forecasting)
