Amazon Logistics Strategy Development Leader - Last Mile, Hub DP Operations in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Amazon Logistics is looking for a Channel Development Manager position to be a part of the team that drives the expansion of the Hub DP (Hub Distribution Partner) network across the country.

The DP Hub structure is an AMZL hybrid operation that uses partner small companies to carry out AMZL's urban logistics in high-risk, low-density and remote areas, through the use of AMZL's main technologies and processes, aiming for the best service in the category to our customers in Brazil.

This position is an Operations Manager that will support Hub Operations expansion and is a position focused on defining Hub capacities based on the daily volume planning. As Channel Development Manager you will negotiate the optimal mix among channels and mitigate impacts in the daily operations. You will also be responsible for managing and implementing store acquisition strategy to expand the network. Together with the Routing Specialists, you will also work to expand AMZL network and capacity of Hubs driving the efforts of the Hub Partner Acquisition team.

  • Candidate must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight, as needed

  • Candidate must have availability to travel up to 50% of the time

Key job responsibilities

  • Analytical thinking for evaluating daily network capacity

  • Work with field teams to optimize partner delivery capacity and performance

  • Negotiate the optimal mix among channels and mitigate impacts in the daily operations

  • Develop and lead the implementations of the network expansion strategy to achieve the corporate service level goals

  • Manage and/or coordinate with other areas who support these functions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience delivering cross functional projects

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Advanced English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
