Job Summary:

Title: Senior Accountant, Roc Nation Sports International Brazil

Location: São Paulo, Brazil (Full-Time, On-Site)

The Role:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the finance and accounting functions associated with RNSI Brazil.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly close binder of financial statements for review with management. Lead preparation of supporting schedules with a focus on the balance sheet and reconcile system submodules to the General Ledger

  • Prepare and record various monthly entries including cash activity, inter-company activity, non-consolidating company entries, and various allocations

  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations.

  • Preparation of various monthly management reports

  • Preparation and recording of weekly, monthly, quarterly journal entries

  • Review and approve expense reports and invoices

  • Assist staff and assistant accountants with various tasks including bank reconciliations, journal entries and inter-company invoicing, as needed

  • Work with other corporate departments and divisions to gather and/or provide various information as needed

  • Assist with internal and external audit requests

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting

  • Other ad hoc requests or special projects from management

  • Maintain financials using both accrual and cash basis accounting methodology

Qualifications:

  • Full working bilingual proficiency in both Portuguese and English (reading, writing, verbal)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance

  • Five (5) plus years accounting experience

  • CPA certification or eligibility a plus

  • Proficient in MS Excel

  • Quick Books experience a plus

  • Oracle experience a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Multi-task oriented

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong organization skills

  • Understanding of US GAAP Accounting
