Edwards Lifesciences Sr Business Insights Manager LATAM - Business Operations - São Paulo/SP in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Strategically analyze operational data and provide insights and solutions for improving the effectiveness and efficiencies of business processes/operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., BUs, Functions and Regions) to understand business challenges, problems and opportunities. Design, develop and implement solutions, both technical (e.g., Metrics Dashboards, Meta-data additions to enhance reporting and analytics) and non-technical (e.g., ECR process changes, simplified workflow changes). Guide cross-functional teams to resolve issues identified by data analysis and provide recommendations on changes to policies and business processes

• Perform complex data analysis, develop data driven insights and root-causes for inefficiencies and ineffectiveness of processes, and identify opportunities to improve training, processes, systems and product data quality. Develop solution alternatives to resolve issues, influence and create buy-in with stakeholders

• Partner with IT and other software development partners to architect, drive design, implement operational metrics dashboards for BUs, Functions and Regions/Plants. Continually improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards

• Lead the design, development, deployment and on-going improvement of the portals (e.g., Ignite PLM, JDE/JDA) and dashboards by partnering with stakeholders

• Perform and manage software validation and/or testing requirements and activities

• Actively participate in high-level strategic problem solving sessions with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in related field , experience of previous related required and

experience in architecting, developing and deploying business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders required

Experience working in a large manufacturing company Preferred

Additional Skills:

• Experience interfacing and influencing stakeholders in complex organizations with multiple BUs and global cross-functional groups including the ability to gain resolutions and build consensus with key stakeholders in challenging situations

• Proven successful project management skills

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel, Global Supply Chain, and relational databases systems required

• Experience in business systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, DRP) required

• Ability to develop compliance processes and procedures

• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

• Recognized as an expert in own area with specialized depth and breadth of expertise within area of work in the organization

• Expert understanding of supply chain operations

• Expert understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions

• Understanding of industry trends as it relates to supply chain optimization and data analytics

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• Interacts with team members and peer managers, normally involving matters between cross-functional teams and the company; often leads a cooperative effort among members of a project team

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
