  • Serve as functional (front-end) system administrator supporting daily operations related to reservations, registrations, and point-of-service sales items.

  • Perform periodic audits of systems to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations and policies.

  • Monitor applications to ensure compliance with internal management controls.

  • Collaborate to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for software systems.

  • Create, improve, and maintain consistent standards of coding, entry, and style for all products managed through the RecTrac and WebTrac database.

  • Collaborate with the Outreach team and other divisions to develop marketing and public relations materials for use on the website.

  • Manage contracts, agreements, and relationships with vendors supporting systems.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain training materials supporting the utilization of software.

  • Manage all aspects of $3M+ in annual financial transactions including collection, deposit, reconciliation, and refunds of payments associated with facility reservations, activity registrations, and other revenue transactions.

  • Manage the scheduling of parks and facilities.

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve escalated customer issues or complaints.

  • Prepare, develop, and analyze benchmarking data relevant to operations, financial practices, and business practices.

  • Manage proactive assessments of fraud awareness, prevention, detection, and risk mitigation activities in area of responsibility; oversee financial, compliance, operational, and performance audits.

  • Comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

  • Hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate staff.

Work Hours:

  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, Recreation, Industrial/Engineering Technology, or in a related field AND two (2) years of related work experience.

  • -OR- Six (6) years of professional job-related experience experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education.

  • Valid Florida Driver's license at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous parks and recreation system administration experience.

  • Previous supervisor/management experience.

  • Certified or ability to obtain certification as a “Certified Parks and Recreation Professional” through the National Parks and Recreation Association.

  • Knowledge of contract negotiations and management.

Starting Pay Range : $55,577.60 - $60,008.00, based upon experience.
