Chris Craft Laminator in Sarasota, Florida

We are seeking a Laminator to become a part of our team building the finest boats in the industry that are known around the world. You will be responsible for laminating hulls, decks, stringers and small parts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to follow work instructions/drawings and stay on task to complete a job
Takes direction from others.
Adaptable and flexible to changing work requirements
Proper use of required tools
Lean to roll out fiberglass material using FRP rollers and measure thickness of glass
Learn how to put in putty and some fiberglass materials
Removes air while laminating.
Laminates Hull, Deck, Liner, or Small Parts
Ability to remove air voids while laminating.
Assists with adding post lamination structure
Works with MEK and resin.
Able to cross-train and learn new areas of lamination
Proficiency in all aspects of job level.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience and skills in rolling fiberglass preferred.
Experience with open mold lamination.
Knowledge of hull and/or deck construction on a boat helpful.
Able to work in a team environment.
Ability to adapt to changes in work processes.
Deadline and detail-oriented, ability to stay on task
Good attention to detail required
Able to work with a team and independently
Good attendance required
Excellent vision required
Able to work in an environment with hearing protection, respirators and other required PPE
Safety Requirements: Employees have the responsibility to follow safety procedures, including wearing proper personal protective equipment and completing the appropriate job training. Employees must also recognize and correct hazards (when possible) and/or report safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor or safety representative.
Physical Requirements: Including, but not limited to: climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, stretching, squatting and bending. May work on knees, seated, laying down, standing up. May require individual to be in awkward positions.
Environmental Conditions: Exposed to heat, cold, dust, fumes, and some outside weather conditions. May be exposed to acetone, resin, fiberglass, putties, glues, cleaners.
