Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $16 / hour
What you'll be doing as a General Maintenance Worker:
Performing routine preventive maintenance to make sure machines run smoothly
Inspecting machinery to diagnose machine malfunctions
Cleaning and repairing as needed
Displaying your analytical skills and a problem solver's mentality
Responsible for general maintenance of machines on the manufacturing floor.
Carry out detailed evaluation of workshop equipment to ensure that it is in good condition for proper functioning.
Assist in different phases of building, construction and general maintenance
Take out damaged sheets and replace them with sheet rock and finishing seams
Inspect production equipment from time to time for proper cleaning, speed, temperature and adequate lubrication
Perform light shop cleaning activities to keep shop organized
Perform minor repairs
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Do light yard upkeep
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
Maintain, service, clean and store equipment properly
Check functionality of safety systems (e.gfire alarm)
Inspect and repair damage to building surfaces
Participate in different projects (e.grenovations)
Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Perform other related duties and activities as required

Shift Timing 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Have good knowledge of electricity, carpentry and plumbing among other technical skills
Have good knowledge of troubleshooting techniques to determine problems and tackle them accordingly
Excellent ability to communicate system problems to both coworkers and management for proper understanding
Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to self and others on ground
