A Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer job is available with our client in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and a minimum of 8+ years of job-related experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US Citizenship is required.
Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer Job Duties:
Performs design of networks, with working knowledge of networking protocols.
Performs detailed technical analyses for a software subsystem or system elements.
Researches and analyzes data, such as vendor products, COTS components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
Performs requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, and system design and definition.
Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and a minimum of 8+ years of job-related experience.
Demonstrated Satellite communications knowledge.
Satellite constellation contact planning experience.
Ground operations experience.
Experience in Software functional analysis and interface definitions, including Application Programing Interface experience.
Able to facilitate discussions with senior levels of Customer Stakeholders.
