Insight Global Sr. Director - Front End Manufacturing Quality in Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Description

A client is looking for a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Quality and Manufacturing team. As a Senior Director Leader, you will be responsible to lead the Strategy and execution of front-end, fab and foundry operations quality organization, including both internal fab sites and external foundries. You'll be a member of a highly innovative and collaborative global team that operates at a fast pace to solve operational problems and build a better future.

* Assume responsibility for driving front-end manufacturing quality for internal fab and external foundry sites.

* Provide leadership and direction to the Operations and Quality teams.

* Lead a globally diverse group of multiple manufacturing site quality organizations and functions through multiple levels of managers. Develop these functions and define actions necessary to achieve key quality and business goals.

* Develop and execute global manufacturing quality strategy to achieve superior quality results and key business goals.

* Develop and strengthen the manufacturing Quality organization to support manufacturing and operations goals and requirements.

* Drive internal/fab and external/foundry manufacturing and supplier quality initiatives and improvements to ensure benchmark quality results.

* Responsible for meeting customer expectations in product quality, responsiveness and services

* Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams from internal quality, manufacturing, business, logistics and NPI (New Product Introduction) functions and key customers as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

* Provide clear and well-articulated vision, strategies and plans to continuously improve product and service quality for customers.

* Participate in customer and supplier quality support as needed.

* Responsible for executing timely root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions throughout the manufacturing organization, for both internal and external (customer) issues.

Skills and Requirements

* A minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, master's degree in engineering is a preference.

* 15+ years' experience that includes Factory, Supply Chain and/or operations in the semiconductor industry.

* Knowledge of semiconductor processes, defects, and yield

* Knowledge of front-end (fab) process steps in semiconductor manufacturing

* Experience with leading OEM company and/or leading Semiconductor manufacturing company preferred.

* Strong problem-solving skills -- Six Sigma training/ certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) a plus

* Process management / process improvement.

* Strategic long-term thinking developed through continued expansion of engineering capability and growth in the business by aligning with the company strategy.

* Collaboration and teamwork across multiple functions and global sites

* Ability to influence and negotiate C level management.

* Prior experience in a high matrixed organization null
