Here’s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: The AWS focused Strategic Technical Advisor is a key member of the team responsible for providing business leadership and strategic technical direction for customers. They will work to build and maintain broad relationships internally and externally within AWS, coach, and guide TEKsystems Sales, Practice & Delivery on strategy and AWS solutions and advise a team of extended partners throughout the sales process. They are responsible for solutioning and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. They work with all appropriate TEKsystems and AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Partners, ProServe) to support customer interests, and will understand how to strongly advocate for their customer and balance that with the business needs of TEKsystems. The Strategic Technical Advisor shows the ability to think strategically and long term about the needs of global businesses, and their financial implications. They have deep understanding of digital transformation of complex legacy IT environments to new native digital environments. The knowledge of IoT, data, and how to leverage advanced AI/ML to solve complex process industry challenges will be an advantage. Understanding of the broad AWS ecosystem makes them stand out from other Solution Executive peers. The Strategic Technical Advisor will be seen as a subject matter expert (SME) and deliver technical webinars, speak at public events, and publish blog posts allowing them to become part of the AWS APN Ambassador Program. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field • Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent is a plus, but not required • 8+ years’ experience in Information Technology and/or Professional Services required; 12+ years preferred • 5+ years’ experience in a professional services organization (i.e. IBM, Accenture, Cap Gemini, Deloitte, etc.) • 5+ years in client facing roles interfacing with business and technology executives • Experience with Cloud, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service; micro-services architecture and architecture models is required • Demonstrated experience developing solutions with or involving the major cloud platform partners we work with: AWS, Azure, or GCP o Certifications strongly preferred o AWS is strongly preferred • Experience in full DevOps life-cycle of modern software development or methodology using Agile/Scrum/Kanban etc., requirements analysis, design, development, and implementation, including any of: o MEAN and/or MERN stack o Containerization, including Docker or Kubernetes o Selenium, Cucumber, Jira, other related tools o Automation frameworks • Experience developing effort/cost estimates, service pricing, writing statements of work, and reviewing/contributing to client contractual agreement; language Keys to Success • Must have outstanding presentation and writing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the client and TEKsystems organization • Must have strong business and information technology acumen with the ability to communicate capabilities, gather and assess client requirements, and communicate solution and value proposition to clients Must have strong technical understanding with the ability build credibility with IT and Business Leadership We offer comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Health Savings Paid Time-Off Short & Long-Term Disability Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Transportation Benefits 401(k) Life & AD&D & Supplemental Life
