ZILLOW INC Data Scientist in Seattle, Washington
Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist for its Seattle, Washington office.
Job Duties: Collaborate with team members across product, engineering, marketing, operations, and more to develop evidence-based approaches to finding gaps in the customer experience. Use advanced analytics and other explanatory and casual inference techniques to gain a clearer picture of customer behavior. Build compelling data stories and visualizations to influence decision makers. Design and implement A/B tests, perform regression modelling, and provide recommendations for product roadmap. Telecommuting is permitted.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience Requirements: Four (4) years of experience in each of the following:
- Analyzing large amounts of data to build metrics and business cases for decision making
- Gathering business and functional requirements and translating them into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture
- Creating data visualization and analysis using software such as Tableau, PowerBI or Excel, or libraries in Python/R
Designing, analyzing, and interpreting A/B experiments, causal inference studies or data-driven investigations
