Has overall sales responsibility for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio for a medium impact client base in any size cluster/geographical area. Must be able to hunt for business while maintaining existing business. (R84024-R84025) We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing exceptional customer service to our existing client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of the logistics industry. As a Field Sales Executive with Maersk, you will be responsible for serving as the main point of contact in implementing and improving our business relationships with companies of all sizes. The primary goal for this job is to hunt for new business and account management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth and revenue Build relationships with potential clients and establish a strong network of contacts in the industry Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing new business; arrange business development meetings with existing and prospective clients Become a subject matter expert on our business products and services offered, and remain up to date on industry-related news Interact regularly with local management and develop close and cooperative working relationships with operations staff to ensure customer needs are being met Develop a growth strategy and set quotas focused both on financial gain and profitability to meet ambitious revenue targets Follow-up with new clients and operations to ensure a seamless implementation when onboarding new clients Perform market research to continually identify new pipeline opportunities, presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers Utilizing Salesforce or current CRM program to build a customer database of key information; build and maintain active pipeline; measure KPIs; identify trends to improve win probability and forecasting accuracy Exceed all assigned revenue goals and corporate pricing objectives: Work with management on any clients that require yield improvement within the customer base Perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS 2+ years of sales in Supply Chain/Logistics/ freight forwarding or a related industry. Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and industry trends. Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong focus on customer relationships and revenue growth. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other sales software. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
