As part of the Science and Technology Organization, we develop the common data fabric that drives the next generation of clinical and operational healthcare applications that seamlessly connect with clinical devices & sensors from Imaging, Monitoring and U/S scanners, and Enterprise health IT systems such as EMRs and PACS. We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager who oversees product planning and optimization for the Data Fabric set of services.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Principal Technical Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the product planning and optimization of the Data Fabric portfolio of services.

  • Product Planning: Aligning the roadmap and backlogs across all Data fabric services with overall business goals and end-to-end use-cases.

  • Shared concerns: Ensure shared concerns such as privacy and security, interoperability, serviceability, data sovereignty, certification, cost-to-serve, uptime, tenancy, user experience requirements are consistently planned across all Data fabric releases.

  • Liaison for solution and customer demoes: Engages with the solution-engineering team, applications, and other DHS services to facilitate end-to-end multi-application testing and demoes for internal and external customers.

  • Stakeholder Communication & status updates: Facilitates effective communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency. Ensure upkeep of source-truth systems for product roadmaps and features such as Aha, PPM across the data fabric.

  • Be flexible, excel when faced with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Have a bias for acting now - then iterate the point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience, 3 years of product management & program management experience

  • Understanding of healthcare workflows, data, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and care protocols

  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing the development process for complex software products.

Desired Characteristics

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field

  • 3+ years of hands-on Product management experience

  • Experience leading and/or managing efforts in a distributed systems environment

  • Hands-on experience building cloud-scale applications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $138,720.00-$208,080.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
