BMS is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join the Cancer Immunology & Cell Therapy Thematic Research Center, located in Seattle. The individual will be a member of the Cell and Protein Sciences group, focused on establishing and maintaining research cell banks. The position is lab based and will require the candidate to play different roles within the group, as need dictates.

Position Responsibilities

In the role as a Research Associate within Cell and Protein Sciences , the ideal candidate will:

• Apply scientific and technical skills to complete assigned tasks

• Carefully execute established procedures and methodologies

• Thrive in a rapidly changing environment, with frequent changes of priorities.

• Effectively execute on multiple work streams and provide timely and prioritized results.

• Cultivate positive and productive working relationships

• Examples of specific duties include: Cell line sourcing, expansion, testing, and banking

• Generation of engineered cell lines (CRISPR, viral transduction, electroporation)

• Flow cytometry (analytical and sorting).

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• No experience necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with sterile technique and cell culture

• Familiarity with viral cell transduction

• Experience performing Western blots, flow cytometry, and/or NGS sequence analysis

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $69,000 - $86,000 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
