As a senior accountant on the Channel Development and International team, you will have the opportunity to be on a great team that is passionate about supporting both businesses through the execution of core accounting activities and by partnering with finance teams in delivering critical financial insights into business performance. You will also have opportunities to enhance your toolbox of skills through analysis of complex accounting transactions, development of operational efficiencies and best practices, visibility to the broader organization through cross functional activities, and increase in business acumen. As a senior accountant, you will: • Support month and quarter-end close activities. Become an integral part of the success of the team as you will be responsible for: Preparing and reviewing journal entries. Reconciling accounts and reviewing reconciliations prepared by others. Loading and consolidating trial balances into the accounting system. Performing critical financial analysis on financial trends and monthly management reporting of actual versus forecasted results. • Prepare and review various financial analysis schedules to support quarterly earnings and disclosures included in the 10Q/10K. • Maintain and develop various accounting systems and processes – You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the various systems in your area and will have the opportunity to recommend and implement improvements to existing systems and processes. • Train and coach others – You will assist the team leadership with facilitating cross-training amongst the team and regional partners, tracking of day-to-day tasks, and setting team priorities. • Strategic business initiative support which may involve project management or facilitation, creation of accounting playbooks and memos, creation and review of financial controls, and extensive cross functional collaboration with other support teams. • Statutory Support for international subsidiaries. We’d love to hear from people with: • Experience in accounting at a professional level, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and reporting and analysis or equivalent experience. (3+ years). • Bachelor’s degree required, degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. • Prior public accounting or SEC company experience preferred. • Experience working in one of the following areas are preferred: consolidations accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, forensic accounting, and auditing. • Experience using an ERP system and business intelligence and reporting tools (such as Hyperion and Oracle) preferred. • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to solve problems. • Outside of the box thinker with creative capability to approach solutions. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
