Google Senior Product Manager, Public Sector, Cloud Marketplace in Seattle, Washington

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.

  • 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building partnerships and collaborating with executive level stakeholders, cross-functional/cross-regional teams.

  • Experience working with the US Public Sector and/or IT infrastructure, cloud and digital transformations.

  • Experience in government accreditation processes.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communicating skills.

In this role, you will be the primary product manager to manage the Google Cloud Marketplace offering for the Google Public Sector. You will work with leadership and engage with stakeholders across Google Public Sector and Google Cloud, including Business, Compliance, Program Management, Engineering, and Solutions. You will be in the position to own, define and build features and capabilities enabling governments around the globe to innovate on behalf of their citizens and transform their organizations via cutting edge technology.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $164,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Be an expert on the Google Cloud ecosystem, markets, competition, and user requirements with a focus on third-party procurement, commerce, marketplace dynamics and network effects. Establish strong relationships with Business Development, Partner Development and key Partners and regularly solicit their feedback on strategy and Go-To-Market.

  • Develop strategy for Cloud Marketplace offerings. Propose new initiatives, programs and capabilities that will delight partners and/or customers and get support for them from leadership, other stakeholders, and teams.

  • Work closely with all Cloud product areas, prioritize feature requests and build a road map for the Marketplace. Work with other functions across cutting edge initiatives.

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.

  • Mentor, coach and develop product managers.
