Amazon Senior Program Manager in Seattle, Washington

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to join our dynamic team within the Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) organization. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of shopping experiences for Household Everyday Essentials. As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead the development of the product vision and roadmap, focusing on understanding and improving customer shopping patterns within the broader Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Your role will involve synthesizing customer data, both qualitative and quantitative, to envision and implement shopping experience enhancements that drive product discovery, basket-building, and repeat purchases. This PM will have direct access to industry renown CPG partners to identify and address customer pain-points at scale. This PM must be able to translate customer shopping patterns into user stories and must also have experience building a feature roadmap. Simultaneously, this PM will be expected to influence and drive feature prioritization with the respective global tech teams across Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

• Vision and Roadmap Development: Craft a compelling product vision and roadmap to address key customer and brand pain-points in the Household Everyday Essentials shopping domain.

• Customer-Centric Approach: Utilize a deep understanding of customer behavior and preferences to translate data into actionable user stories. Identify opportunities for improving the overall shopping experience, focusing on ease of discovery and basket-building.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align on goals and gather insights. Influence and drive feature prioritization with global tech teams across Amazon.

• CX and Financial Management: Understand, prioritize, and manage customer experience (CX) and financial levers effectively. Ensure alignment between product development efforts and business objectives.

• Program Management: Demonstrate excellent product and program management skills to deliver results within a fast-paced environment. Timely delivery of large-scale projects with a focus on quality and impact.

• Independent Operation: Operate independently while upholding a strong sense of accountability and ownership. Exercise judgment, creativity, and influence to navigate challenges and drive project success.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Proven track record of successful program management, specifically in e-commerce or retail environments.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive decision-making in a global, cross-functional setting.

  • Passion for customer advocacy and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
