Diamond Parking Service Senior Systems Administrator in Seattle, Washington

Systems Administrator at Diamond Parking As a Systems Administrator at Diamond Parking, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and helping our team stay connected and productive. You will collaborate with others, document system configurations and procedures, and provide technical support to end-users. Key Responsibilities Learn new technologies as they emerge. Monitors capacity and performance to identify future system upgrades. Performs system upgrades and updates. Provide Windows Systems support. Participation in the on-call rotation process as part of the team. Technically knowledgeable and customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional manner. Create, track, and manage tickets in the helpdesk system. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues. Guide users through step-by-step solutions in a clear, concise manner. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external support as needed. Follow up with users to ensure their IT systems are fully functional. Document resolutions for future reference and contribute to the IT knowledge base. Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation and procedures. Requirements 5 years of working experience in deploying, managing/ troubleshooting on-prem and O365 as well as the following areas: DNS, Windows Server 2012 and newer, and Windows PowerShell Working with and troubleshooting the following - Active Directory, Azure, VPN, SMTP, DNS, MS Teams, Exchange, Multifactor Authentication, etc. Support managing security patching, security aware and firewalls (Fortinet is a plus). Deploying Microsoft products utilizing the high availability and disaster recovery capabilities. Track record of managing projects to completion. Excellent teamwork abilities and written and verbal communication skills. Detail oriented, organized and possess self-management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks and projects. Standard office hours apply, with occasional requirements for overtime during peak periods or system upgrades. Patience and ability to work under pressure. Preferred Qualifications Certifications like MCSE/MCSA/MCP/Security+/Network+/CCNA or similar.
